To protect the people of the District of New Hampshire, the United States Attorney's Office prosecutes violations of federal law and represents the United States in civil litigation in the district. Duties This Investigative Analyst for Affirmative Civil Enforcement provides support to the United States Attorney's Office by conducting investigative analyses in support of legal matters by developing information-gathering strategies, reviewing and interpreting large volumes of data, and identifying patterns indicative of criminal or fraudulent activity. If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for providing Investigative Analyst support in the U.S. Attorney's Office, District of New Hampshire, located in Concord, New Hampshire, focusing in the areas of information and data analysis, investigative research, and case support. Typical work assignments will include: Researching and analyzing investigative information using inductive and deductive reasoning to identify trends, verify facts, and evaluate the validity of raw data. Collecting, organizing, and preserving documents and evidence. Developing charts, graphs, and audiovisual materials to visually present findings for investigators, attorneys, motions, and trials. Supporting investigations by identifying, developing, and analyzing routine investigative leads and case information.
