Organizational Location: These positions are located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, OD EXECUTIVE SECRETARIAT, in Washington, District of Columbia. These are non-bargaining unit positions. Duties As a Correspondence Analyst, at full performance level you will perform the following duties: Receive correspondence from multiple resources and venues to be used internally and externally for delegation purposes. Log all correspondence in area of responsibility into tracker and assigns to correlating office with specific action and guidance. Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the program on status of correspondence assigned. Monitor all correspondence is directed to appropriate subordinate office and periodically reports the status to management. Provide recommendations and assistance, as needed, to the leadership and assure that responses are prepared in a timely manner. To meet agency needs, this position will be filled under a time-limited appointment, of more than one year but not-to-exceed (NTE) 4 Years based on management approval which will be determined by their review of workload requirements and available funding. This is not a permanent appointment and does not allow for conversion to a permanent competitive service.
