Physical Therapist Camp Humphreys, South Korea Summary About the Position: Serve as a fully licensed and privileged Physical Therapist responsible for the full range of physical therapy patient care, United States Army Medical Department Activities, Directorate of Surgery, Physical Therapy Service, Brian D. Allgood Army Community Hospital (BDAACH), located at Camp Humphreys, Pyeongtaek, Republic of Korea. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Duties Perform a range of complex physical therapy duties requiring advanced practical knowledge of physical therapy, evidence-based medicine, and data collection. Evaluate/treat all levels of acute and chronic neuromusculoskeletal conditions and accompanying sequelae. Exercise initiative to identify underlying causes of a patient's pain or dysfunction by using am individualized systematic approach to patient care. Apply the use of therapeutic modalities and new integrative techniques and technologies for the purpose of evaluation and ongoing treatment. Designs treatment plans to meet patient/clinical objectives to maximize restoration of physical and adaptive roles and functions. Evaluate patients referred to physical therapy for strength and range of motion documentation for Military Physical Evaluation Boards (PEBs). Teach alternative or compensatory techniques for rehabilitation, reconditioning, and functional tasks regardless of physical, mental, and/or cognitive deficits. Use additional emerging technologies, such as acupuncture and/or other integrative medicine techniques.
