About this role

Health Technician (Occupational) Atsugi, Japan Summary About the Position: This position is located in the Occupational Medicine department of the U.S. Naval Branch Health Clinic, Atsugi, Japan. Incumbent is responsible for providing comprehensive occupational health services to all eligible beneficiaries in the area of responsibility of the clinic. Living Quarters Allowance (LQA) and payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are NOT authorized for this position. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Duties Provide patient screening to obtain medical and occupational history. Perform various medical screenings, such as vision, vital signs, spirometry, audiometry, and electrocardiograms (EKGs). Maintain medical records in accordance with applicable directives. Review medical records and tests to provide accurate counseling to patients regarding their results. Facilitate the safe and effective operation of medical equipment and contributes to a safe working environment. Provide administrative support such as patient scheduling and coordination of physical exams. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
