Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Fort Jackson, South Carolina Summary About the Position: This position is located at Army Health Clinic, Moncrief, Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Recruitment incentives MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Salary negotiation MAY be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Duties Works independently performing routine, emergent, and specialized procedures with responsibility for protocols, patient care, and magnet safety. Receives and reviews requests from physicians and other health care providers for magnetic resonance imaging examinations of patients. Performs adult and pediatric magnetic resonance imaging of the heart to identify cardiac pathology. Independently establishes various parameters. Trains Graduate Medical Education (GME) radiology residents, non-radiologist physicians, 68Pstudents and other personnel in MRI principles, procedures, capabilities, techniques, and equipment. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
