When you join us as an MRI Technologist I, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21 st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes. You Will: Ensures the safety of patients, staff, and visitors who come in contact with the powerful magnetic field of the MRI scanner. Screens patients and other personnel entering the MRI scan room for contraindications before they are exposed to the magnetic field. Ensures information and data entry accuracy while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality. Maintains accurate patient records, ensuring the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPPA”) and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations. Receives and identifies patients using appropriate criteria before performing the study ordered. Guides patients through a process that may be difficult at times by kindly explaining the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and processes.
