Investigation and Compliance Specialist Washington, District of Columbia Summary This vacancy is for an Investigation and Compliance Specialist in the Bureau of Industry and Security within the Department of Commerce. Duties As an Investigation and Compliance Specialist, you will perform the following duties: Coordinates and manages complex investigation and compliance cases and develops written analyses and recommendations on case disposition. Conducts investigative research and analysis and prepares written investigative reports. Conducts meetings, briefings, and hearings and develops written communications and briefing materials for stakeholders. Presents findings and recommendations and supports written justifications and policy recommendations. This Job Opportunity Announcement may be used to fill other Investigation and Compliance Specialist GS-1801-13, GS-13 positions within the Department of Commerce in the same geographical location or local commuting area with the same qualifications and specialized experience. Requirements You must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this position. This position requires a TOP SECRET/SCI CLEARANCE: Any required investigations and clearances must be completed before the selectee can be placed in the position.
