About this role
NPI Analog Test Engineer Malaysia A new opportunity exists for a Senior Test Engineer within our Semiconductor Test Group. Primary responsibility will be to p articipate on NPI teams to ensure designs meet published specifications and manufacturing/repair test requirements by assuring DFT/DFx processes are successfully initiated. This candidate will also be responsible in p reparing new complex printed circuit board assemblies, supporting infrastructure, development of test plans and procedures for release to offshore manufacturing and repair facilities. Responsibilities: Work with Hardware and Software engineering groups to assure product meets performance specifications. Ensure CPk statistical target values are achieved prior to Release to Manufacturing (RTM) Will train contract manufacturing and repair staff on new product test process, procedures, tooling, troubleshooting. Responsible for all test process documentation, training and process transfer initiatives. Report accurate information regarding the root causes of product failures, and all tests results conducted as part of the failure investigation. Ensure that the product being evaluated meets performance and workmanship standards Clearly communicate product and process quality issues in a timely manner to Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality personnel, and recommend ideas for quality improvement. Education and Experience/Skills Required: BSEE, BSEET or equivalent with 5 to 10 years of hands-on Test Engineering experience in a New Product Introduction (NPI) environment. Experience with Digital and Analog systems and PCBA debug down to the component level. Knowledge of Unix/Linux, C and/or C++ program languages preferred.
