Field Service Engineer II Mexico Position Summary : Represents the company worldwide at customer locations in a technical product support role. Responsible for customer's satisfaction with performance of equipment, modifications and upgrades to existing equipment, including repair, maintenance, training and servicing. Performs intermediate on-site machine engineering and customer support activities involving the installation, modification, servicing and repair of equipment. Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities : This position supports customer sites in Aguascalientes, Mexico, however, the job requires domestic and international travel up to 50%. Conduct on-site installation and repair of semiconductor test equipment on location at customer locations worldwide. Complete retro-fits at customer sites. Leverage skill and knowledge of company equipment (electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems, software systems, systems functionality, and diagnostics) to perform testing and troubleshooting of complex equipment to ensure proper working order: ensure procedures are followed and findings are documented. Make repairs, solve problems and/or communicate repair suggestions to customers. Isolate equipment start-up malfunctions and take corrective action. Train customer personnel and OEM dealers in equipment operation and maintenance requirements. Provide technical training and support to customers and deliver operator training. Serve as an on-site expert on questions or issues involving equipment in operation at customer facilities. Respond to customer requests for technical service. Make recommendations to improve product reliability and serviceability. Make recommendations to the spares list. Provide technical assistance to the internal Sales Department. Develop and certify standard testing procedures. Monitor product reliability and collect data for analysis. Analyze data, submit findings and make recommendations to improve product
