Tests and analyzes samples to determine unique properties or for meeting customer specifications. Compiles and analyzes data Key Responsibilities Design mechanical prototypes in partnership with scientists and engineers, applying core engineering principles Create, update, and release mechanical CAD models and drawings to support builds, test setups, and documentation Build, assemble, and modify prototype hardware, fixtures, and test apparatuses to support experimental execution Construct, test, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment, components, devices, and mechanical systems Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including optics, electronics, materials, and manufac
