About this role

Laboratory Technician Taipei Role Purpose Measure optical or relevant attributes for display components. Assist in development and implementation optical measurement skills. Work with internal to have deep understanding in technical support. Key Responsibilities Document and prepare reports on measurement results. Interpret measurement data and detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy. Ensure the calibration and maintenance of optical measurement equipment. Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and equipment. Design proper fixtures and establish sample setup methods Follow and update laboratory protocols and ensure compliance with quality standards. Education Master degree in Physics, Optics, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Bachelor and relative work experience are plus Experiences/ Skills Work Experience Preference for individual that enjoy working in technical Lab. environment. Basic in knowledge of display component and tear down experience. Solid experience of working in a Display or Optical measurement lab Required Skills Good at Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint documentation. Good at written and verbal communication skills. Ability to operate optical metrology or related equipment. Hands-on approach to problem solving. Desired Skills Knowledge and familiar with optical metrology. Knowledge of photoelectric phenomenon and polarization characteristics. Experience of MATLAB or Python or LabVIEW programming is a plus
