Your Impact In this role, you will: Transactional Support: Provide legal counsel to Mexican sales teams, including drafting and negotiating contracts for direct customers and channel partners (e.g., software licenses, XaaS, cloud agreements, and alliance contracts). Strategic Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior sales management, providing practical, business-focused legal guidance that aligns with Cisco's priorities. Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve complex business and legal issues through clear, actionable advice. Global Collaboration: Participate in key global initiatives alongside cross-functional legal teams. Compliance & Privacy: Ensure all operations adhere to internal compliance, data privacy, and regulatory requirements. Team Culture: Act as a proactive teammate, supporting colleagues and contributing to a culture of shared success. Minimum Qualifications: Experience: 12+ years of legal experience with 8+ years of experience within the technology industry, with a focus on supporting complex transactional matters for a multinational organization. Legal Expertise: Expert knowledge of commercial, contract, and business law. Proficiency in intellectual property, software licensing, cloud, data protection, antitrust, and export-import regulations. Education: Excellent academic credentials; admitted to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction. Public Sector: Advanced knowledge of public sector procurement processes and regulations. Privacy Knowledge: Familiarity with data privacy frameworks
