Meet the Team Our hardware engineering team collaborates closely with system designers, diagnostics engineers, customer escalation engineers, and external vendors. Together, we ensure robust test methodologies and timely issue mitigation, resulting in high product quality and enabling next-generation solutions. The team fosters a culture of innovation and continuously optimizing cost, performance, and quality across Cisco's hardware portfolio. Your Impact As a Cisco Hardware Engineer, you will: Apply guidelines and your expertise to improve products and services independently, while receiving guidance from leadership. Serve as a resource and mentor to less experienced colleagues and interns. Apply your work and conceptual knowledge of current technologies to broaden your capabilities. Build productive relationships with peer stakeholders within and across teams. Lead and implement projects of limited complexity and drive small-to-medium features from technical design through completion. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in design reviews to ensure product and system designs meet guidelines and customer needs. Contribute to delivering high-quality designs and deliverables. Write unit and integration test plans, identify opportunities for automating tests and debugging.
