In this position, you'll help design and deliver critical systems that provide clean water and reliable wastewater services-creating lasting benefits for generations to come. Your work will directly support environmental stewardship, regulatory compliance, and community well-being. How You Will Contribute Purpose-Driven Design: Prepare engineering designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities, collection systems, pipelines, and pump stations with minimal supervision, translating complex challenges into effective solutions. Quality & Compliance: Review engineering designs and technical reports to ensure alignment with federal, state, and local regulations while upholding CDM Smith's high standards for safety and quality. Client & Project Collaboration: Support proposal development, engage with clients to understand project needs, and contribute technical insights through presentations, white papers, and industry publications. Mentorship & Leadership: Support the development of junior staff through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance. Industry Engagement: Represent CDM Smith at conferences and professional events, staying current on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
