Position Overview: Ameresco is looking for a Project Engineer to join our team East O&M Team. The Project Engineer will support the Office of Mental Health's comprehensive Energy Efficiency and Pollution Program (CEEP) based in either Buffalo, West Seneca, or Rochester, New York. Responsibilities: Lead system-wide energy assessments, benchmarking, and ASHRAE Level I-III audits to identify energy efficiency, electrification, and infrastructure renewal opportunities. Oversee design and construction-phase energy projects, coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and facility stakeholders to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. Manage ongoing communication with clients and internal teams, providing project status updates, resolving issues, and addressing schedule delays or construction-related concerns. Direct supply-side and demand-side energy management initiatives, including utility procurement strategies, bill audits, incentives, demand response, and energy monitoring programs.
