Senior Project Manager - Transit Services CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Transit Services to join our multi-disciplinary and action-oriented transportation team in Illinois. This position will support the transportation team for our growing transit practice focused on bus, rail, transit infrastructure (facilities) projects. The Senior Project Manager will provide a variety of professional transit services. They will lead tasks and provide support and guidance for bus/rail/facilities projects for a variety of client projects. **We are open to filling this position out of our Chicago or Lislie IL offices.** For more information about our Project Management roles, tools, and culture, please visit this website https://bit.ly/2UC8V16 Position Summary As a Senior Project Manager, you'll have the chance to focus on bus, rail and facilities projects in the greater IL for major transit clients; CTA, Metra, or PACE. The ideal candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate and manage multi-disciplinary teams on multiple assignments. Anticipated position responsibilities include: • Serving as senior project manager, deputy project manager, and major task lead and collaborate with professionals on a wide variety of transit design of complex bus, rail and/or facilities projects • Working with current staff to enhance our transit services capabilities. • Mentoring staff and helping to expand our transit design practice in the greater IL market. • Leading the development of project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and monitoring and controlling project performance. • Performing Quality Control/Quality Assurance of key deliverables related to
