About this role

Experienced Engineer - Network New London, CT, US Overview D462 seeks a highly motivated individual to join its IT team. The position is for an experienced Network Administrator, based on your qualifications, for a number of classified networks. The role requires a broad understanding of technologies including networking, applications and scripting skills. The successful candidate will work in a technically diverse environment with a team of system and network administrators responsible to install, maintain and support Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) products and to ensure the security and availability for use across the networks. The candidate will be assigned projects to manage as required. The successful candidate will be expected to attend training sessions to maintain and improve skillsets as well as cross train peers. Some travel may be required. The position provides challenging work and a means to continue gaining technical skills and broadening experience. The candidate will be part of a team responsible for the following: Administration of Cisco switches, routers, Cisco CUCM, VTC, ISE and Palo Alto firewalls Administration with Cisco Call Manager, VTC, ISE NAC and implementation Knowledge of VMware Providing user support Project Management Interpreting, implementing and testing security requirements.
