Engineering Manager, TPSI Cambridge, MA CMT is looking for a Engineering Manager to help us change the world. We build AI to solve some of the most difficult challenges in mobility - understanding and reducing risk, detecting crashes, and getting people life-saving help. The problems are hard. We're indeed looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Trip Processing and Sensor Integration (TPSI) team, the backend team responsible for ingesting, assembling, and processing the high-volume sensor data that powers CMT's core telematics platform. The team owns the full trip pipeline: from raw sensor data uploaded by SDKs on hundreds of millions of devices, through trip stitching and reprocessing, to the data products consumed downstream by scoring, crash detection, and analytics teams. Working closely with technical leaders across CMT, you will drive the reliability, scalability, and evolution of a critical backend system built on Python, AWS (ECS, DynamoDB, SQS, Kinesis, Lambda), and internal data pipeline tooling. You will manage a team of experienced backend engineers, set technical direction in partnership with tech leads, and partner with Product and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-impact platform improvements.
