Human Resources Generalist Great Falls, MT, USA Human Resources Generalist Great Falls, MT, USA Posted Monday, May 4, 2026 PURPOSE Provide hands-on HR support across the employee lifecycle to ensure consistent policy application, compliance, and a positive employee experience. Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR processes. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with TA to support requisition intake, interview coordination, offers, and onboarding Advise managers on policy, investigations, corrective action, and conflict resolution Facilitate performance-management cycles, goal setting, development plans, and calibration Coordinate compensation and benefits changes in partnership with Centers of Excellence Deliver basic HR training on processes and systems to managers and staff Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers, responding to employment-related inquiries and escalating complex matters as appropriate. Support employee engagement initiatives and reinforce Calumet Values. Perform routine HR tasks supporting payroll, benefits, compensation, HRIS, performance management, and talent planning programs. Coordinate return-to-work and medical case management processes, including related documentation. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Business or HR 2+ years of generalist HR experience Working knowledge of HRIS and MS Office Working knowledge of federal and state employment regulations SKILLS Consultation and sound judgment Policy interpretation and compliance Basic HR analytics and reporting Strong organizational and confidentiality standards Collaborative problem solving Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills to effectively work with individuals. Self-motivated and detail oriented. Foster positive work relationships, solid team player, ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling highly confidential information.
