Associate Director, Data & AI APAC (Malaysia or Taiwan) Associate Director, Data & AI APAC (Malaysia or Taiwan) | Additional Posting Location(s) Malaysia-Kuala Lumpur Location: Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Purpose Statement: The Associate Director for Data and AI either to be based in Kuala Lumpur or Taipei, serves as the strategic leader for BSC APAC's data and AI agenda, responsible for developing, executing, and scaling the region's data and AI strategy. This role oversees data governance, architecture, analytics, and AI capabilities to unlock business value from enterprise and external data sources. As the regional AI leader, the role drives the identification and implementation of high-impact AI use cases, ensures operationalization of AI solutions, and champions responsible AI practices. The role is pivotal in enabling digital transformation across commercial and corporate functions, while ensuring alignment with global standards, regulatory expectations, and regional business priorities. Key Responsibilities: Drive Data Excellence Lead the development and execution of BSC APAC's data strategy to ensure enterprise data is governed, trusted, and used effectively for decision-making. Define and maintain a regional data strategy aligned with enterprise goals and global standards Oversee governance practices including data stewardship, data quality monitoring, data security and metadata management Collaborate with data owners and stewards to establish clear data ownership, accountability, and usage policies Ensure high data quality and integrity to support analytics, reporting, and digital initiatives Enable a culture of data literacy and respo
