Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Principal Network Automation Engineer to join our Global Network Engineering (GNE) team. This role blends leadership of a small team of automation engineers with individual technical expertise within development of network automation and maintaining automation systems. Network automation is primarily delivered through our in-house application, Argus, which is the source of truth for network inventory, handles compliance and provides reporting used for various purposes including hardware and software currency. Is this role right for you? • Financial institution experience, knowledge of bank processes • Leadership experience, ability to set strategic goals and lead a team to deliver on them • Ability to balance technical and business objectives and lead a team on both fronts • Strong development skills, able to contribute • Experience maintaining infrastructure • Develop and maintain software tools for network automation and monitoring • Design and implement network configurations and security policies • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions to optimize network activities including governance, compliance, audit, reporting, health checks, network implementations • Contribute to pipelines and infrastructure-as-code deployments • Document technical processes and maintain version control Do you ha
