Purpose The Manager, DevOps and Release, ensures that project outcomes/releases meet the technology operational readiness standards, coordinates the solution implementation and all activities related to a successful code deployment and health checks hat meets business area requirements. It also supports the Senior Manager, DevOps and Release Manager to oversee the Cards Engineering portfolio of projects (also known as Releases) to optimize the usage of resources and alignment with the strategic objectives. Management plays a critical leadership role in ensuring seamless, secure, and efficient delivery of software releases across multiple environments into production. This position oversees all aspects of release planning, change control, and deployment governance, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. The role is accountable for release readiness, operational readiness, risk assessment, and reporting to senior leadership on all changes, releases, and enhancements promoted to production.
