Leads and oversees Commercial Credit Risk in Quebec ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures for Quebec's Commercial Mid-Market and National Accounts. The Head of Credit Risk Quebec ensures the Commercial Bank's loan portfolio is efficiently maintained at an acceptable level of risk and loan losses are minimized. The incumbent adjudicates credit requests up to limits; makes sound recommendations on larger loans and ensures the loan portfolio is managed effectively and in adherence to Bank policy and standards. In this role you will: Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Leads a team of adjudicators, contributes to the profitable growth and quality of the Quebec's Commercial Credit portfolio, ensuring the portfolio is efficiently maintained at an acceptable level of risk. Ensure portfolio performance aligns with risk appetite through strong credit adjudication, robust controls, and proactive risk management. Provides objective oversight and effective challenge, optimize capital, monitor emerging risks, and collaborate with business lines to shape strategic initiatives. Ensures credit applications
