Position Overview: As an EHS Specialist, you are a key member of the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) team, reporting to a Regional EHS Manager. You will contribute to Ball's success by supporting plant EHS function, and ensuring that the plant EHS meets Ball's overall environmental health and safety plans and objectives; driving the organization towards outstanding safety performance. In this role, you will work in both an office and manufacturing environments. ** This position will support plants located in our Eastern Region of the United States. Preferred home base location would be at one of the following Ball locations: Pittston, PA; Saratoga Springs, NY; Tampa, FL or Winterhaven, FL, or Rome, GA. ** Your Key Areas of Responsibility Include: Support plants within assigned region to maintain a safe and secure work environment; including: facilitating monthly safety teams/meetings, perform monthly safety inspections/audits, investigate accidents/manage corrective actions, and correct unsafe acts/conditions as required.
