About this role

Unix Engineer and SRE Singapore Key Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain RHEL systems across development, testing, and production environments • Design, implement, and support OpenShift container platforms • Administer and troubleshoot JBoss application servers • Utilise Red Hat Satellite for system provisioning, patching, and configuration management • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards • Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and processes • Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and operations • Participate in on-call rotations for critical system support Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field • 3+ years of experience in Unix/Linux administration, with a focus on RHEL system administration and troubleshooting • Experience in supporting Messaging Queue platforms (e.g. IBM MQ, Active MQ, etc.) • Strong knowledge of OpenShift container platform administration • Proficiency in using Red Hat Satellite for system management • Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash) and at least one programming language (e.g., Python) • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet) • Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Zabbix, ELK stack) Any personal data you share with us during the application process will be processed strictly in compliance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Notice .
