Software Engineer (Jira) Singapore Summary: - Jira Software Engineer with deep expertise in Jira software engineering to administer and enhance Jira Cloud environment. - This role will focus on improving workflows, building automation, and optimizing Jira configurations to support efficient project tracking and collaboration. - Strong scripting skills, hands-on experience with Jira automation, and a deep understanding of how to leverage Jira Cloud capabilities to meet organizational needs. Key Responsibilities: - Administer and maintain Jira Cloud, including user management, permissions, and project configurations. - Design, implement, and optimize Jira workflows, custom fields, screens, and schemes to align with business processes. - Build and maintain automation rules using Jira Automation, scripting, and REST APIs to streamline operations and reduce manual effort. - Develop and manage integrations between Jira and other enterprise tools (e.g., Confluence, GitHub, ServiceNow). - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Jira solutions. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity across Jira projects. - Document configurations, automation scripts, and best practices for long-term maintainability. - Provide training and support to users, ensuring effective adoption of Jira features and workflows. Skillset (Must have) - Possess a degree in Computer Science, STEM, or related field. - At least 3 years of hands-on experience administering Jira Cloud in a production environment. - Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript) for automation and integration. - Proven experience in building Jira automation rules and using REST APIs and webhooks for custom integrations. - Possess solid
