RAN Systems Engineer Hyderabad, Telangana, India AST SpaceMobile is building the first and only global cellular broadband network in space to operate directly with standard, unmodified mobile devices based on our extensive IP and patent portfolio and designed for both commercial and government applications. Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today's five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected. Position Overview We are seeking an exceptionally motivated and versatile telecommunication RAN Systems Engineer to join our team. This is not a traditional feature-definition role; instead, it requires a highly skilled professional capable of tackling complex challenges across system engineering, design, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cellular technologies and a passion for innovation in satellite network solutions. Key Responsibilities - Debug and resolve field issues related to RAN systems and satellite network integration. - Guide and support testing teams during validation and deployment phases. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define upcoming solutions for SAT network architecture. - Participate in system-level design reviews and ensure compliance with engineering standards. - Provide technical leadership in RF and lower-layer protocol analysis. - Document processes, findings, and recommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in communication engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field. Experience: - Minimum of 3 years as a System Engineer and at least 5 years in the telecommunications industry. - Deep familiarity and understanding of Cellular standards: 4G and/or
