Production Technician, Shift 1 Barcelona, Spain AST SpaceMobile is building the first and only global cellular broadband network in space to operate directly with standard, unmodified mobile devices based on our extensive IP and patent portfolio and designed for both commercial and government applications. Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today's five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected. Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Technician to support manufacturing and assembly operations. This role is responsible for executing production processes, ensuring product quality, and maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow standardized procedures while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: • Perform assembly, integration, and basic testing of mechanical and/or electronic components. • Follow work instructions, engineering drawings, and production documentation accurately. • Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment as required. • Inspect components and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. • Identify and report non-conformances or process deviations. • Maintain accurate production records and documentation. • Support process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce defects. • Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures. • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with workplace standards.
