Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today's five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer - LEO Satellite Gateway Infrastructure to support the planning, design, and deployment of ground-based infrastructure for satellite gateway systems. This role focuses on delivering durable, scalable, and code-compliant civil and structural solutions across varied global environments while collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering and deployment teams. Key Responsibilities - Lead civil and structural engineering design for antenna foundations, equipment pads, radomes, and related site infrastructure - Perform seismic and wind load analyses for antenna systems and supporting structures in compliance with applicable design standards - Conduct viewshed and horizon analyses to validate line-of-sight and sky visibility requirements - Oversee geotechnical investigations, including soil characterization, bearing capacity assessment, and foundation optimization - Review and validate anchor layouts, structural interfaces, and load transfer mechanisms - Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to align civil designs with system and deployment requirements - Review third-party engineering deliverables for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications - Support permitting, zoning, and regulatory approval processes related to site development - Supervise construction
