Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors EHS Specialist (Safety) What You'll Be Doing Partner with manufacturing leaders to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace Develop and implement safety management systems, including: Hazard identification Risk assessments Mitigation planning Compliance auditing and reporting Serve as a safety subject matter expert (SME) on: Capital projects Process improvements Cost reduction initiatives Train and educate employees on safety procedures such as: PPE Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Ergonomics Hazardous materials handling Lead and support incident investigations, including: Root cause analysis Corrective action planning and execution Manage hazardous and residual waste programs Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives for safety and environmental systems Lead hazard identification and risk assessment processes Plan and execute process safety mitigation projects Ensure all safety documentation and compliance requirements are maintained Execute capital projects safely, meeting cost, schedule, and performance targets Provide ongoing technical guidance and knowledge sharing across the plant Ensure compliance with environmental permits and regulations Serve as an on-call safety contact as needed
