In the Wireless Software group, you'll be responsible for bringing groundbreaking wireless connectivity to the world through Cellular, satellite, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and more. You'll design, develop, and patent the next generation of our state-of-the art connectivity technologies. You'll collaborate across departments to help craft wireless solutions that elevate the customer experience with Apple products and services. Our goal is to ensure nothing stands in the way of our customers' connections with their devices. We are looking for a talented cellular validation engineer with a background of automation to join our dynamic team. You will join a diverse team responsible for qualifying the wireless features and software for the latest iPhones/iPads and Apple Watch product lines. In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you will be directly responsible for ensuring the quality of Apple's wireless products, focusing on consistent functionality and stability. This involves understanding new and existing feature implementations to craft informed and robust testing charters, authoring test scenarios, scripts, and plans, and then executing functional and stability testing. You will also write and review automation test scripts, identify and report defects with first-level root cause analysis and consistent reproduction steps, and champion quality efforts by collaborating with platform architecture, standardization, firmware/protocol
