This role is central to driving end-to-end performance and seamless integration of advanced Physical Layer (PHY) wireless communication algorithms within Apple's custom silicon. You will be the crucial link that translates sophisticated algorithmic concepts into highly optimized, real-world system functionality. Your primary focus will be on the complete lifecycle of our wireless algorithms from design, implementation, integration, and deployment to the final product. You will be responsible for physical layer system design, integration, & characterization of state-of-the-art wireless SoC products at the center of a silicon design group from conception to production. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum requirement of a bachelors degree Bring-up experience and take to production state-of-the-art physical layer wireless communication system algorithms for very high data rate applications. Profound understanding and practical application of wireless communication theory, including advanced topics like OFDM, MIMO/multi-antenna systems, and RF system architecture. Expertise in signal processing algorithms for physical layer implementations, such as timing and frequency synchronization, signal estimation and detection, automatic gain control (AGC), RF impairment mitigation
