The Online Safety Legal Team is a team of dedicated professionals within Apple's legal department who advise the business on online safety related harms, work to respond rapidly to customer reports of harmful content, liaise with law enforcement on imminent threats, review and report child sexual exploitation material “CSEM” to relevant law enforcement agencies, and partner with Apple's Trust & Safety team to create and implement safety policies. Collaborate with the Trust & Safety Team to implement online safety policies Review customer reports of harmful content on Apple's platform including CSEM reports Provide legal guidance regarding online safety regulations and reporting requirements Liaise with global law enforcement on imminent harm cases Develop internal documents for content moderation training, workflows, and processes Respond quickly to time sensitive customer reports that may arise outside of standard work hours Minimum Qualifications: 5-7 years of legal experience focused on online safety issues Familiarity with global online safety regulations, CSEM legal reporting requirements, and privacy laws JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar Preferred Qualifications: Clear and concise communication skills Ability to forge trusting relationships and work globally as a member of a cross functional, geographically diverse team Willingness and ability to travel as
