Come join our collaborative, driven team! Finder and Files are at the center of how people manage their digital life on all Apple platforms. Your impact will extend beyond Finder and Files, as you contribute to driving iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS platforms forward! We power the Finder and Files applications on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS. To provide an exceptional experience, we work closely with file systems, frameworks and applications teams. We are looking for a skilled and self-motivated software engineer who is eager to interact with other members of the team, and other teams at Apple. As a Finder and Files engineer, you will work on UI and data model for Finder and Files, applications used every day by millions of people. In this position you will participate in all stages of software development, from new feature design and implementation, to maintenance of prior releases. You will work through rapid development cycles, remain flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty, showing your drive to deliver dependable software. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Object-oriented programming experience Preferred Qualifications: Comfortable updating existing UI, and creating new UI Ability to deeply analyze multi-client synchronization problems Excellent communication and collaborative skills in a highly collaborative environment Upbeat, adaptable, and results oriented with a positive attitude
