The purpose of the Marketing BU is to sustainably maximise cash flows from the marketing of Anglo American products and services. The Sales Operations team is responsible for delivering best-in-class service to customers in order to allow Marketing to capture best possible margins in the market. The team is fundamental in delivering the trading and sales operations ambitions across Marketing that requires manage trade-offs between different production, marketing systems and interfaces customers across various industries following different dynamics operating practices (multi-industry context). Sales Operations team needs to scale and expand its services as required to support the development of new product and service offerings to the market. This role plays a key part in designing and continuously optimizing the platforms/systems within the commodity areas, considering that the business increases in complexity over time with the introduction of enhanced trading, sourcing and origination and financing activities. Job Description: Responsible for delivering sales operations services for our equity products and complementary third-party product from sourcing and origination as well as trading activities within Marketing. This role plays a critical part in managing shipments related activities in line with contractual and commercial terms, while identifying value opportunities and serving as a key control point for risk mitigation across the entire supply chain.
