Debmarine Namibia is seeking for an experienced, strong, individual who can work independently, in the role of Security Manager . The successful incumbent will lead Debmarine Namibia's Security Section to ensure the protection of mineral resources, company assets, and the fleet operations. The successful individual will be responsible for developing and executing integrated security strategies aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Job Description: THE SECURITY MANAGER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES : 1. Security Strategy & Integrated Security Systems: The implementation of Debmarine Namibia Security's strategy to maximise the protection of mineral resources, products and company assets according to the Namibian Diamond Act 13 of 1999. The facilitation of a fully integrated security system at Debmarine Namibia. The monitoring of the effectiveness and relevance of protection and security systems. The co-ordination of the gathering of intelligence of both national and international significance pertaining to the environment in which Debmarine Namibia and De Beers operates, and which potentially impacts on the strategic direction of the company's business operations, protection of resources and interests at large, and reports this to senior management. The management and facilitation across discipline risk management projects to increase the scope and nature of security protection.
