IT HelpDesk Technician Allen, TX, USA IT HelpDesk Technician Allen, TX, USA Posted Wednesday, June 3, 2026 Role Overview Amphenol Fiber Systems International (AFSI) is seeking a IT HelpDesk Technician who leverages automation to drive efficiency. You will be responsible for the stability and security of our Allen, TX facility's IT operations, supporting a high-compliance engineering and manufacturing environment. We are looking for a technician who views manual, repetitive tasks as a bug. You will use PowerShell and Python to streamline endpoint management, integrate our security stack, and ensure our M365 GCC High environment remains airtight. Key Responsibilities Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automated software deployment, user onboarding/offboarding, and system auditing. Use Python for data manipulation, API integrations between tools, and custom IT tooling. Endpoint Management: Architect and manage Windows 10/11 and Linux deployments via Microsoft Intune and NinjaOne. Security & Response: Monitor and remediate threats using CrowdStrike and Arctic Wolf. Automate security posture checks to ensure continuous CMMC/NIST 800-171 compliance. Network & Infrastructure: Manage Cisco Meraki networking hardware and support SolidWorks engineering workstations. System Maintenance: Use RMM (NinjaOne) to deploy custom scripts for proactive maintenance and "self-healing" workstations. Physical Requirements Lifting & Mobility: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (UPS units, workstations, and printers). Environment: Ability to work on a manufacturing floor, including maneuvering under desks or around production equipment.
