About this role
Solderer Work Location (Country) United States | Remote/Onsite Onsite The Solderer is responsible for assembling of product components and hand soldering of connectors. To ensure success in this role, you should possess a strong knowledge of product assembly and experience in a similar industry. This position performs assembling and soldering electrical components, systems, and assemblies and will follow procedures for soldering connector ends as well as assembly of connectors. All solderers will be certified to the J-STD 001 if not already certified. Solders may require crimping contacts to conductors per router, drawing and procedure when applicable. Key Responsibilities: Performing hand soldering of electrical assemblies Experience with hand crimping of a variety of contact styles Ability to read and work from assembly prints, schematics and procedures required Minding quality and detailed working with precision and care Maintaining a clean and safe workstation Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent, associate degree in technical field preferred Two+ years in an equivalent role with extensive hands-on experience Experience with soldering of connectors Experience with assembly and termination of coax connectors and ethernet products preferred but not required Demonstrated ability to carry out defined tasks independently with minimum supervision Excellent verbal and written communication skills J-STD 001 certification preferred but not required (will certify on site) and IPC A620 preferred
