Process Operative Work Location (Country) United Kingdom | Remote/Onsite Onsite AEM Limited has been Europe's leading independent overhaul and repair facility for more than 60 years. The company has a solid reputation in the aerospace industry for providing a broad range of services to international and regional airlines, helicopter operators and airframe manufacturers. We are currently looking for a Process Operative for our Luton site. Role & Responsibilities Set up and operate the Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) equipment Operate the curing ovens using the program controllers and chart recorder equipment. Ensure that all documentation, oven chart recorders and work pack travellers are kept up to date. Checking of plant equipment at regular intervals in accordance with maintenance check sheets. Proactive understanding of calibration needs and dates for all relevant equipment, Responsible for the identification and reporting of defective equipment or tooling to team leader/supervisor. Take ownership of the department and surrounding areas with respect to the company 5S programme Competencies Ability to work well in multidiscipline/cross-functional teams Strong organisation skills and excellent attention to detail Innovative and enthusiastic Experience use of Microsoft 365 - Word, Excel, etc Detailed, ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines and multi task Strong communicator (written and verbal) Well organised and self-motivated
