About this role
CNC Machine Operator Aberdeen, United Kingdom As a CNC Machinist in the Machine Shop. Your role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to stringent safety and quality standards. You will work with advanced CNC machinery to produce high-quality components, ensuring that all customer and company specifications are met. Operate/program cnc lathe making a variety of pipe connection and to assist in training new team members. Understanding of technical drawings. Applies basic skills and assists with new tasks under direct supervision. Gains proficiency in the use of equipment and related matters. Problems and issues are routine with clearly prescribed solutions. Ability to follow and/or meet requirements of all related training. Ability to contribute towards, support and/or lead key processes and adhere to all required relevant standards including those related to Health & Safety, Process Leadership, Investigations, Materials Handling, Process Reporting, Paperwork (including JSEA documents), Product Quality and Production Schedule. Ability to follow instructions set out by Manufacturing Supervisor /Management. Flexible to work shift rotations as and when required (subject to appropriate notice) Adheres to Oceaneering Life Saving Rules at all times Participate in HSE Awareness - Observation Cards, HSE Safety Suggestions Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company. Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.
