About this role

Materials and Production Planner Work Location (Country) Mexico | Remote/Onsite Onsite The Material Planner provides support in the transfer of products and processes from the United States to Nuevo Laredo. The planner develops production schedules and ensures they are followed. This position is also responsible for communication with suppliers, verifying product availability, and recording process outputs daily. The planner must have strong planning skills, effectively manage time, and enforce production deadlines. Responsibilities: Review and implement the material planning system Review the ERP system periodically to meet daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly requirements Create daily production schedules Ensure all relevant staff receive the production schedule Communicate effectively with purchasing, production, and other departments Record daily production progress Integrate capacity, lead times, line output, and resources into the ERP system Education and Experience: College degree. Minimum of 1 year in a similar position or in the manufacturing industry. Background: Bilingual (Spanish / English) - preferred Proficiency in computer software (Microsoft Office) Knowledge of Oracle Competencies: Results-oriented Change management Delegation and accountability Resource prioritization and alignment Continuous improvement Communication and influence Teamwork
