Manufacturing Test Engineer Work Location (Country) Mexico | Remote/Onsite Onsite The manufacturing and test engineer optimizes manufacturing for maximum efficiency and quality. It is responsible for designing production lines, establishing quality controls, and implementing continuous improvements to reduce costs and ensure that products meet technical standards. Responsibilities: Line Design: Plan workflow, equipment layout, and plant space optimization. Continuous improvement: Analyzes and evaluates existing processes to identify bottlenecks and reduce waste. Documentation: Creates and updates procedure manuals, work instructions, and route sheets for operators Standardization: Ensures that processes comply with safety regulations and quality standards. Testing: Runs tests on components and finished products to detect defects or technical failures. Investigate the root cause of bugs and collaborate with the development team to fix them. Documents test results and provide technical feedback to refine product design. Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing test solutions aligned with production timelines. Maintain and improve existing test equipment and software to enhance efficiency and reliability. Ensure traceability and documentation of test results for audits and quality control. Train production staff in test procedures and troubleshoot test-related issues on the production floor.
