WHS Regulatory Response Case Manager, Governance and External Affairs Arlington, Virginia, USA Amazon is seeking an experienced Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) professional to join the Governance Regulatory Response and Activity (RRA) team who will be responsible for regulatory response case managing. This role combines strategic planning with practical implementation to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a safety-first culture of all Amazon operations in North America. A strong background in health and safety management is required, specifically in regulations governing high-risk operations. Experience in varying Amazon operations and business unit processes is needed. Canadian experience is a plus. Key job responsibilities - Develop and maintain WHS governance frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with current legislation and industry's best practices - Lead case assessment processes and implement control measures across various operational areas - Manage complex WHS regulatory cases, including external agency investigations, associate claims and complaints, and execution of programs and procedures. - Analyze WHS data and trends to identify emerging risks and opportunities for improvement - Provide expert advice to senior management on WHS matters and risk mitigation strategies - Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of WHS initiatives - Conduct regular audits and reviews of WHS systems and processes Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience - Experience handling confidential information - Experience with regulatory filings and reports or equivalent - Bachelor's degree or above Preferred Qualifications: - 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and
