About this role
Treasury Analyst, EMEA Regional Treasury Center (RTC) Luxembourg, LUX Amazon is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join our global cash management team in Luxembourg, our European Headquarter. The Treasury department is a fast-paced, team-focused, dynamic environment that offers many challenging opportunities for developing one's financial, analytical and Treasury skillsets. This role requires Treasury operational experience, track record of process improvements and project management experience. Key job responsibilities - Manage short term liquidity across EMEA entities, including support intercompany funding and settlement activities; - Manage all EMEA trade finance inquires, including execution of bank guarantees and provide advisory to entities; - Responsible for developing reporting and metrics to measure operational defects and identify improvement opportunities; - Collaborate well with cross functional teams and external business partners; - Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in ways that are meaningful and useful to internal business partners Basic Qualifications: - Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field - Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan, or experience communicating results to senior leadership - Experience delivering complex projects with prior ownership of the operation of a mission-critical team and/or product - Cash Management experience Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in data analysis and leveraging analytics to make decisions - Experience leveraging AI tools or automation technologies to streamline treasury operations, reduce manual workflows, or enhance decision-making efficiency Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
