About this role

Strategic Procurement Specialist, Delivery Services Sydney, New South Wales, AUS Amazon Delivery Services is seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to support the growing volume and complexity of partnership agreements. The successful candidate will put in place partnership agreements with carriers, be responsible for defining sourcing strategy, undertake spend analysis, forging strategic partnerships, leading vendor identification and development, as well as tactical elements such as leading negotiations, including creating proposals and collaborating with internal stakeholders (such as the legal, finance, security and compliance teams) and closing. The Strategic Procurement Manager will need to understand the impact of contract terms, compliance obligations, business concerns, etc., and be able to explain contract terms to stakeholders whilst identifying ways to meet customers' needs. The successful candidate will lead the effort to resolve all carrier questions and concerns in contract negotiations and will collaborate with internal stakeholders on specific areas of concern. Strategic Procurement Managers are expert practitioners in creating competitive environments, and have a strong bias for decision-making rooted in data and analytics. They routinely influence C-level vendor relationships by advising senior Amazon leaders across multiple stakeholder groups on the direction of sourcing projects in support of business unit and corporate goals.
