About this role

Sr. Compliance Specialist , Amazon Leo, Global Service Compliance Arlington, Virginia, USA We are seeking an experienced Sr. Compliance Specialist to join the Amazon Leo's Public Funding Compliance Team. This role is an integral part of developing our compliance framework for participation in public funding (or subsidized government) programs in the U.S. and globally. You will build compliance infrastructure from the ground up, working at the intersections of broadband satellite technology innovation and regulatory requirements. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about technology who thrives on continuous challenges demonstrates sound judgment in ambiguous situations. Key job responsibilities You will research, develop, create, and maintain comprehensive compliance procedures for required filings, forms, and submissions to public funding program administrators. You will manage the complete lifecycle compliance obligation activities. This includes documentation, reporting, and audit preparation, while monitoring evolving program requirements and regulations to adapt internal policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance. You will also lead solutioning for management and execution of timely submissions for required regulatory filings and public funding program documentation. You will design and implement scalable compliance frameworks that support rapid organizational growth while maintaining high fidelity. This includes creating clear, actionable policies and standard operating procedures within our team and in collaboration with partner teams. You will establish quality assurance processes and follow internal controls to ensure accuracy and completeness of regulatory submissions, maintain comprehensive compliance documentation and audit trails for all program expenditures and activities.
