Software Development Engineer, RDS Security Monitoring, RDS Security Monitoring Vancouver, British Columbia, CAN We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and motivated software engineer to join our mission to make AWS the best place to operate relational databases, especially in the world of agentic AI. The RDS Security Monitoring team owns features that help customers monitor their Aurora and RDS databases and surface security findings to address and mitigate various attack vectors. This is a rare opportunity to join a highly visible team that is delivering transformative agentic AI solutions to help customers protect their growing fleet of Aurora and RDS databases. You will also be responsible for developing and operating agentic AI solutions that use that security telemetry to troubleshoot and mitigate security threats. This product operates on millions of instances and helps our customers monitor and protect their databases. This is an area that requires solving the hardest engineering challenges in distributed systems at massive scale. As a customer-facing AWS service, our solutions have to be solid, scalable, efficient, and highly fault tolerant.
