Software Development Engineer II, Sales Abuse Prevention Bengaluru, Karnataka, IND Sales Abuse Prevention (SAP) vision is to make Amazon the safest and most trustworthy store for our buyers, brands, and selling partners. Integrity in our store is self-evident, abuse is deterred by ensuring it never impact customers, and ensures trust in every transaction. Our engineering teams build and maintain high-throughput and low latency abuse detection and preventions systems that process over 1B transaction daily, focusing on building scalable detection and fraud prevention systems A day in the life Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, build and bring innovative products and services to market. Architecting globally distributed systems with emphasis on scalability and reliability. This includes experience with cross-regional data consistency, cache invalidation strategies, and distributed transaction management. You should be well-versed in designing fault-tolerant systems that maintain high availability across multiple regions while handling complex state management. Good background in security protocols and identity management systems is essential, as is experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing patterns. Additionally, you should be comfortable with modern DevOps practices and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for large-scale distributed systems. Basic Qualifications: - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language Preferred Qualifications: - 3+ years of full software
