Software Dev Engineer II, Quick Commerce Vancouver, British Columbia, CAN Are you interested in helping Amazon make history and redefine the meaning of 'fast' in eCommerce? We are the Amazon Now team and are in the early innings of an exciting new initiative - deliveries in under 30 minutes. We are looking for a Software Engineer for the Amazon Now team to help ensure we have a compelling and friction-free 'delivery in minutes' experience available to our customers, and help drive continuous innovation and improvement of the delivery experience across all phases of shopping, buying, and post-purchase. This is a true 0→1 opportunity where your code will directly impact how millions of customers shop on Amazon Now. Key job responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable customer-facing applications and backend services for the Amazon Now platform - Collaborate with Senior SDEs, Principal Engineers, TPMs, and Product Managers to define technical solutions that solve customer problems at scale - Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following Amazon's engineering best practices - Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning sessions - Own the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment and operations - Drive continuous improvement in system performance, reliability, and seller experience - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to raising the engineering bar across the team - Work in a fast-paced, agile environment with rapid iteration cycles About the team We are fast-paced and focussed team made of passionate and ambitious Amazonians who strive to build industry leading
