Senior Content Acquisition Manager, Prime Video Japan Tokyo, JPN Do you want to define the next generation of how and what Amazon customers are watching? Prime Video is one of the leading digital video services on the Internet today, and we're just getting started changing the way millions of people enjoy content. We are currently seeking a Senior Content Acquisition Manager to join our Prime Video Japan licensing team. Working as an individual contributor, you will own the end-to-end workflow for the development and launch of Prime member-exclusive first-run content mainly for Japanese TV dramas and Japanese movies. You will lead negotiations with content producers, licensing sales persons of TV broadcasters/film production companies, and content stakeholders to accelerate our first run content strategy and develop exclusive entertainment content for Prime members. This role offers the opportunity to establish and manage strong relationships with content providers while driving the execution of content acquisition strategies across a variety of business models, including flat fee licensing, pay for performance, and more. You will participate in all aspects of content development, negotiate deal terms, secure internal approvals, and execute contracts to deliver results for both our stakeholders and customers.
